★★☆☆☆

In the wild, sulphuric mythology of poet William Blake from the 1790s, Nobodaddy is mentioned as a kind of god – the “Father of Jealousy” hiding in the clouds – who during the last days of Louis XVI’s ancien régime “Farted & belchd & coughd / And said I love hanging & drawing & quartering / Every bit as well as war & slaughtering.” Revolting and destructive, he’s un-nurturing as the portmanteau of his name suggests.
